Our story

Sakura was established in 2009 as the first Japanese restaurant in Portsmouth. Since our opening night we have always strived to bring the taste of true Japanese cuisine to our customers, while adding friendly service, knowledge and a lot of enthusiasm for what we do.

We have retained a lot of the features from the Portsmouth branch to our Southampton restaurant that has made us so popular. These include tasty food that comes in a great variety, and fast, reliable service. We strive to maintain our standards whilst constantly refining ourselves to meet the demands of every customer.
